For 14 miles, you will experience one of this area’s hidden trail running treasures. From the starting line at the Mount Morris Dam on the edge of the Genessee river gorge, you’ll enjoy your first of several scenic overlooks. Take it in before you take off! The course quickly becomes a winding single-track through open woods and sloping hills. The landscapes are ever changing; from heavily wooded evergreens to rocky stream crossings. At the halfway mark, each runner will take a short loop on Letchworth State Park trail #16 and head back to the Dam and Recreation Center for the finish. Between mile eight and nine, you’ll be challenged by the course’s largest hill.

Withdrawals

Plans change, so Goose Adventure Racing will provide withdrawal refunds on the following schedule;

Directions

DIRECTIONS Dam’ Good Trail Race starts and finishes at:
Mount Morris Dam and Recreation Center
6103 Visitor Center Road
Mount Morris, NY 14510

FROM THE NORTH (Interstate 90):

take 390 South to exit #7 (Mount Morris/Letchworth).

Take a left off the exit ramp and head 5 miles south on Route 408.

Once in Mount Morris, follow Route 408 by turning left onto Main Street and then a quick right onto Chapel St.

After about 2 miles, you’ll see Visitor Center Road and the entrance to Mount Morris Dam on your right.

FROM THE SOUTH (Route 17, I-86):

take 390 North to exit #6 (Sonyea).

Take a left off the exit ramp and head 7 miles north on route 36.

Once in Mount Morris, turn left onto Route 408 and head south for about 2 miles.

You’ll see Visitor Center Road and the entrance to Mount Morris Dam on your right.
